At the beautiful junction where the black volcanic sand of Perivolos beach meets the blue waters of the Aegean Sea lies the ISTORIA Hotel. ISTORIA Hotel took it's name from the ancient Greek word for history and it's design by Interior Design Laboratorium opens a new chapter in the unique architecture of the island.
The simplicity of the spaces combines harmoniously with the traditional building materials of the island with volcanic stones and colored plaster and some well-chosen pieces of wooden furniture and handmade fabrics. Evomat with it's Greek lava finish and the colored plasters with kourasani has contributed to the maximum helping the architectural team fully achieve hes goals.
In every one of the 12 suites, the Greek lava finish with the wonderful shades, as well as the colored plasters with kourasani that has been used in all masonry, have created a wonderful image. The final result emits a unique sense of sophisticated simplicity while the interior of the rooms combines the minimalism of the Cycladic style with the emblematic details.
At the same time, the Greek lava finish of Evomat has also been used outdoors where together with the colored plasters with kourasani, they have been united with absolute harmony.
The design of ISTORIA Hotel is an unusual combination of Mediterranean features and different architectural and design elements that embrace the characteristic traditional Santorini architecture.
